The table features a 2 inch thick plank top with breadboard ends. The top has an intentionally aged, distressed patina on the finish to mimic age. The deep, rich finish showcases the lovely woodgrains and desirable age. The top is supported by large baluster shaped legs conjoined by a long stretcher having mortise and tenon joinery. The legs end with 6 inch wide shoe feet. Heavy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The table is stamped and signed by the maker and dated 2005 on the bottom of the table. Classic European profile from an estate in Atherton, CA. The table was purchased from Traditions in Menlo Park, CA.
