The external wooden surface is engraved and decorated with three delicate swallows in flight. The mirror is ground and original, in excellent condition. The book opening fits together and works perfectly. The refined carving, the beautiful and delicate pictorial decoration, well preserved. The wooden surface has a few light bristles as can be seen from the photos. The wood is treated with wax and has not undergone restoration. less
