Description: Beautiful flame mahogany table with stunning carved legs and corners. The top of the table is rimmed with a carved … more Beautiful flame mahogany table with stunning carved legs and corners. The top of the table is rimmed with a carved scrolling design. The squarish brass pulls have a nice weight and the key holes are outlined with brass. The table has two upper large drawers about 16.75" deep and 18" wide. Two smaller drawers about 7" wide are below. The drawers are dove-tailed. This table was originally a dressing table as there are holes on the back where a mirror attached (not included). Nonetheless, it is a versatile table and can be used for a side table with lamp, a small desk, or a dressing table. There is felt on the bottom of the legs. All in all the table is structurally sound. There are light scratches throughout and the top of the table is slightly bowed toward the middle. The table is approximately 80-85 years old and originally purchased in Buffalo, New York and was a family heirloom. While English in style, there is Dutch and French influence in the carving on the legs and scrolling edge top. The table was refinished about 15 years ago and has a lacquer like finish on the top. An original key is included but the locks do not work with ease. less
