- With age, these plates have occurred some imperfections, one plate has a stain about the size of a quarter, one … moreWith age, these plates have occurred some imperfections, one plate has a stain about the size of a quarter, one plate has some brown paint smears on the bottom that would have occurred at the time that these were made, there are some utensil marks that are visible,and there are four plates that have minor imperfections along the rim that includes some scuffs into the glaze. We’ve provided photos of all of this. Also, the previous owner had used a tape indicating that these should be hand wash that remains on a few of the plates. less

Fabulous set of nine English plates, presented on a soft white with a chocolate brown floral pattern known as pansy around the rim. These have a lot of age, and are highly sought after brown Transferware. These are great for a collector. They are lovely to display and use today on your table. Nice size for serving dinner or to stack onto a larger dinner plate.
