This boulder opal displays very bright colors from all directions predominantly blue, orange, green and yellow in a rolling broad flash pattern and also features script pattern (aka Chinese writing) rarely seen in boulder opal. This extremely rare gem was formed by mother nature with a very thick opal layer on an iron stone matrix making the color play similar to black opals.
