The figural handle features an Eagle Heat thumb rest with Acanthus Leaf scrolls.
The underside of the lip features 2 Bacchanalian Cherubs separated by an oval cartouche without monogram. The cut crystal is a series of flutes to the upper part of the vessel and panels of smaller flutes with square cross hatch cut work. The base has a star-cut design.
The is a stamped #23 noted on the inner surface of the handle. No other maker identification was noted. Photo. # 9 shows light scratches to the inner surface of the spout lip. Very little wear to the plated finish was noted. Age related wear seen to the crystal base as well as a tiny flea bite noted on one of the cut surfaces. less
