Classic Danish modern salad set for 8 includes 1 large central salad bowl and 8 individual serving bowls. Also includes a serving utensils - spoon & fork. Fine staved construction with elegant concave sides.
Each marked with the Digsmed brand on the underside.
1960s. Made in Denmark.
Very good used condition. The large bowl has barely noticeable separation at 2 staves which is a normal characteristic of vintage pieces from this period. This does not affect the function.
The large bowl is 14" diameter x 5 1/4" high. The small bowls are 6" diameter x 2 1/2" high.
11 1/2 pounds total weight.

Digsmed was founded in the 1960s by Flemming Digsmed in Denmark. They manufactured high-end wood products for the table in teak, wenge, and rosewood until they closed in the late 1970s. Because of the very high quality of their products they have always been highly respected and sought after. less
