Beautiful cabinet designed as a wash stand, but would also work well as a large nightstand, entryway cabinet, etc.. It was made in American about 1890s. More detail and carving than is typical. Beautiful walnut wood.
Nice quality can even be seen not only by the choice of wood, dovetail construction, extra carving, and extremely unusual with the subtle carving on the sides.
Name on back may be Johnston Furniture?
Professionally restored many years ago.
Height is about 39 5/8 inch at top of back rail and main surface is 29 3/4. About 29 inch width and 15 inch depth at greatest depth
