A large French art deco wall sconce in clear frosted molded-pressed glass. Made around 1930-1935 by Hettier et Vincent the prestigious shop in Paris of the businessmen Louis Hettier and Calixte Vincent. The shade was produced by Verreries des Hanots. Frosted on the inside it shows vivid glossy parts on the outside of the bowl. The shade is unsigned.
The two HetV knobs that fixate the shade to the iron mount can be seen in the 1928 HetV product catalog. I re-nickeled the brass knobs. The shade is represented in the verreries des Hanots catalogs.

The sconce is 14 cm (5,5 inches) high and 44,7 cm (17,6 inches) wide. It is 23,6 cm (9,3") deep. The wall light is in very good condition. It is rewired with an American standard socket.
