A beautiful Régence caned armchair with a finely carved caned seat and back featuring a symmetrical design of scrolls and pendants of flowers. The back and seat are caned with a rather close mesh. The serpentine arms and the cabriole legs with foliate decoration end in scroll feet. Carved oak cabriole legs are connected with double-lyre stretchers.
