Centered with a ruby-red crystal encircled with small clear crystals, … more 1950s designer Boucher / Marboux gold-plated crystal brooches, a set. Centered with a ruby-red crystal encircled with small clear crystals, the flat platform appears to be both three-dimensional and in constant motion. The etched curving lines create an optical illusion, so that the brooches seem to be spinning. So cool! The center stones are a vivid ruby red, and the brilliant clear stones emphasize their intense color. The photos failed to capture the metal, it's much brighter and more even in color, it really has to be experienced to get the proper effect.
