The Zelli pattern come from Qajar dynasty and the original name is Zelle Sultan. This pattern usually comes in Persian Kermans with traditional color combination but to see it in Tabriz with color combination like this is kind of unusual. Another advantage about this rug is, its size, which is a semi square and because of it , adds up to the value. This rug is in perfect shape although , it is 90 years old plus but still has enough pile left that could go for another century. This rug freshly came out from an estate sale in Santa Barbara near president Reagan"s ranch. it measures.
