The lithograph print poster is published by The Galerie Des Ponchettes, Ville De Nice, printed in France in 1955 by the famous printing house Atelier Mourlot in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion the exhibition of the Post Impressionist artworks of the artist Pierre Bonnard.

Pierre Bonnard ( 1867 - 1947 ) the French painter, illustrator, and printmaker especially known for the stylized decorative qualities of his paintings and his bold use of color. Bonnard was a founding member of the Post Impressionist group of avant - garde painters known as Nablis. He is generally regarded as one of the greatest colorists of Modern Art. Bonnard was a leading figure in the transition from Impressionism to Modernism. Art works by Bonnard are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print collector's French exhibition poster print measures 18" W X 25 1/4" H. It is printed on smooth finish paper stock with a matte finish.

It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It has never been framed. There is some light signs of handling and wear in the lower right corner area.
