Richly glazed in deep blue this Chinese jar has a dark brown glazed interior to accommodate liquid storage. The lid has an embossed Chinese symbol for longevity which suggests to me the jar's intent was to store something special for your health and well being. Featuring a wonderful globular shape, the jar and lid are in excellent condition. Dates early 20th C
