Geoerge III faux tortoiseshell tea caddy. The dome top is decorated with a silver monogram plate and silver stringing from each corner to the center plate. The front has a silver escutcheon plate and key. The totally original interior has red velvet lining the lid. The interior has two compartments for different teas and retains the original protective lining. The lids have turned knobs. The caddy rests on silver plated brass ball feet.
Due to its age, over 120 years old, there are some hairlines to the body of the caddy.
