Artist biography Peter Jepson, a British artist who grew up in North West London before WW2 in 1936, he worked in the forces the RAF for a couple of years working as a radar technician after he finished his national service he decided to become a full time artist. He painted mainly in oil. He then created his own mixed media technique using pastel with watercolours and he adored painting wildlife animals. This work is of equal parity with Shepherd in quality in our opinion. Jepson was chosen for membership in the British Society of painters in 1990 and the Fine Art Trade Guild in 1992 then a fellow of the Society of Artists. He did an exhibition in New York in the early 1990’s then sold a selection of his works at Christies in London.
