This exquisite antique Bohemian majolica vase lamp captivates the eye with its enchanting design and rich details. The bulbous body, drenched in a deep, luscious red, serves as a dramatic canvas for the intricate scene that unfolds before you.
In a stunning three-dimensional relief, a picturesque castle rises majestically amidst a serene countryside. The castle is nestled beside a gently flowing river. A small stone bridge invites the viewer’s gaze to cross over to the opposite bank, where a tall, stately tree stands proudly with outreaching branches.
This idyllic landscape is beautifully encircled by ornate scrollwork, contrasting elegantly with the warm red of the lamp. The delicate handles, slender and graceful, rise gently from the sides, leading the eye upward to the neck of the lamp where a soft tan brown color provides a subtle contrast.
The lamp has four ornate green-highlighted legs that rest upon a perforated brass base. less
