The Dreamer is a bronze sculpture by contemporary artist Eric Valat, dimensions are 15 × 22 × 17 cm (5.9 × 8.7 × 6.7 in).

The bear makes an appearance in Eric Valat's bestiary of sculptural vocabulary straight out of childhood. Eric Valat is attempting to reimagine the traditional bear representation with his Bear Benches, which feature extremely vivid and bright colors. The bear pulls its arms back as if it were trying to embrace someone or something. The sculpture displays an elaboration of the forms that leans toward harmony and simplification. The artwork has a refined and airy quality thanks to the green patina. less
