- This brass stool is in the manner an old Roman themed design. This one was created in the 1960s in … more This brass stool is in the manner an old Roman themed design. This one was created in the 1960s in Hollywood Regency style that became popular in the 1940s-50sand 60s. The chair is brass wrought iron an is grounded by the brass semi-circles that start at the bottom, giving support for the smaller cross beams that become the support for the seat itself. The unique part of this stool are the hand crafted arms that rise from 4 bows of brass that are strengthened by 2 rods on each side of the seat for the sitter to hold onto when necessary. This is part of my collection from Los Angeles, where I shared a studio with another investor. We were located in West Hollywood. The hand sewn down zipper pillow is covered in an original glamorous vintage Cotton/Mix fabric. The stripes are 2 shades of gold . The pillow is 22" x 5" x 22" less
