Hand painted on the island of Macau, off the coast of Southern China. The bowl portrays elegant Chinese ladies in a country landscape repeated within medallions on the front, back, and interior. The remainder with flowers, fruit, and precious objects painted over a wonderful stippled turquoise background.
Marked on the underside with a Qianlong Dynasty seal mark stamp in red.
Vintage mid 20th century.
Condition is excellent - makes a good display piece or fruit bowl.
