It hales from an estate in the Santa Cruz Mountain's in San Francisco from a Japanese artist the collection included Hysong and Takaezo. The craftsmanship is superb, with every curve and torso meticulously crafted. It is signed , the quality and artistry of this piece speak for themselves.

CLAUDE Horan (1922-2014) was a professor emeritus of art at University of Hawai‘i—Manoa, where he taught from 1947 to his retirement in 1978.
