Both pieces are signed and dated 1988. The set consists of a matching piece of decorative art and a vase and comes with the information card about the artists. As they describe their work: "Our pottery consists of a collection of thrown and handbuilt forms in white stoneware with intricate incised designs, stained in delicate colors and embellished with brightly colored metallic lusters."

The dimensions given below are for the art piece. The vase is 4.5" wide and deep and 11" tall.
