The solid beech frame … moreThis iconic set of "Carimate" chairs has recently undergone a partial restoration featuring new leather upholstery. The solid beech frame and legs are in 100% original, vintage condition and show only minor signs of vintage wear such as surface scratches, small chips and nicks (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided). With that said the wood is in overall very good condition. The upholstery, redone in a rich genuine Italian leather hide with the perfect amount of patina, shows only the wear of a once living animal with scars and ranch brands present (and can be seen in the detail photos provided). The seats also include new, medium density foam for maximum comfort and longevity. This stunning set of Italian Modern "Carimate" chairs are incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a lifetime more of use thanks to their recent restoration.
