Made in the Staffordshire district of Stoke-on-Trent , England circa 1850-1880
White clay pottery dogs, with black cold painted noses, and stylised eyes.
Dogs are not 100% matching, but we acquired them from an old estate in Lancaster, PA. I believe they have always been together.
Size: 12 1/2" tall, 9" wide, and 5 3/4" deep.
Condition: Overall very good condition, minor wear to the glaze from age and use. no chips or cracks. one of the dogs does have a piece of pottery loose/stuck on the inside, and it rattles when moved. wear to the gold painting from age/use/wear. less
