This is a beautiful, rare jar.
I believe the label to be porcelain.
The color, in French is orange soufflé~hand-blown glass.
The lid is metal with a lightly painted design.

The wee label says:
Etiquettes Porcelain Btes G. O. G. Tissier Paris

The manufacturer:
La maison Tissier fondée en 1761 était fabricant de verrerie, cristaux, porcelaine. 204 rue du Faubourg Saint Denis Paris. Médailles aux expositions universelles de Paris 1878 et 1889.
