Adorned with floral motifs on the upper portion, while the lower half exhibits a basketweave pattern. The soft, off-white glaze with a slightly rustic finish adds to its charm, highlighting its age and craftsmanship. The small rust spots are due to the iron content in the clay. The lid is topped with a small, delicately molded floral finial. This piece is an excellent example of 19th-century ceramic artistry, Maker's mark on underside. See less
