The brass sleeves … more Here's a beautiful and rare set of playing cards from the early Art Deco period circa 1920s. The brass sleeves with black enamel feature a flapper girl while the sides and backs feature floral designs. Each sleeve contains a deck of cards that has gilt edges and floral backs with gilt accents. The cards were manufactured by Samuel Hart & Co. and are of the same era as the sleeves. One deck missing 10 and Queen of Clubs. In same deck the Jack of Clubs and Jack of Diamonds have a bent corner. Overall, lovely accoutrements for an Art Deco setting. less
