David Karp was an exceptional artist who built upon his father's teaching to produce very detailed paintings many depicting winter scenes like this one. The painting is circa 1984, reframed in 2000. The painting is in excellent condition. There are a few holes in the upper back of the frame where an art light was screwed to the frame but these do not have any impact on the painting or the frame. Beautiful use of pastels with vivid color on the young skaters. less
