A magnificent seven piece modular 'Landeau' sectional sofa.
Original Cassina production, Meda, Italy.
Production from 1976 to 1991.
It is rarely offered in this large size.
Covered in the original corduroy upholstery with camel colored leather welting.
The units can be unzipped and shuffled for additional orientations. Complete with the original cushions.
It is a classic Italian style sofa from the eighties which, thanks to its essential lines, retains the aspects of elegance and modernity.
It is possible to disassemble the sofa completely.
Mario Bellini (Milano 1935) Milan-born architect and designer Mario Bellini just may be the closest thing to a modern-day Renaissance man: His creative output spans genres, from electronics to furniture to architecture to cars, comprising iconic designsin each. He has been the recipient of multiple prestigious Compasso d’Oro design awards, and more than 20 of his works are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
