In 1970 Bruno Gecchelin designed the crescent lamp for Skipper & Pollux which was produced in the two black and white versions. The one in question is the black version with a black marble base. The stem is chromed and telescopic. On the side of the speaker there is a lever for the dimmer. The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The chrome plating is practically intact, the marble unscathed. The speaker shows very light signs of use and age. The lamp is in perfect working order. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
