Italian tempera on paper artwork of great pictorial quality depicting a historical scene from Roman antiquity. Contemporary frame in carved and gilded wood, with some signs of aging. Born as a fan, it must have been adapted and transformed into a painting in the 19th century by applying the paper to a cardboard. It has a protective glass, the artwork is overall in good condition.
