This is the smaller version or cigarette ashtray. Diameter 3 inches (7,5 cm).

The brassware line was only produced is sought after today by collectors. It was only in production in limited quantity between 1965-1967 due to the challenges of working with brass in the Stelton factory rather than the stainless steel it was set up for.

On top of that, the properties of brass which are very different from stainless steel has resulted in many cracked items, which means that the already limited production has been diminished even further.

The ashtray is in great condition. It has a nice patina to the brass. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
