We had to over expose the images so the details can be seen. In person it's a gorgeous piece of primitive Folk Art hand carved wooden statue of a man. It's carved from one piece of solid wood. In our opinion the color leans more on super deep brown than black, but it's somewhere in between. To our eyes the figure is Asian, but it's also not a clear cut case. This man is holding his hand together with what seems to be a bird in the palms. Overall a very satisfying serene figure that would make a great addition to any house decor.

Condition: Good and consistent with age.
