richly embossed with depictions taken from the Burmese mythology which is rich in representations, probably from Patacara story

rather detailed and with very high relief figures
the figures on the sides are those recurring in almost all Burmese boxes of this type, the scene on the lid changes which are normally taken from the Ramayna, the Jataka, the Therigatha, or from scenes of the court and the royal family

the hand engraving at the base were added later to guarantee the silver (translation: made in pure silver)

the box weighs 244 g
measures 9 x 7 x 7.5 cm

In excellent condition, without dents, closes perfectly
