The housing is made of hard plastic with a mid-century faux wood look with gold tone frame and a decorative hook for hanging. Instruction booklet is taped to back.
Measures 7.5 inches tall (not including hook), 17 inches long and 1 inch deep. In excellent condition; no chips or cracks. Appears to measure accurately in comparison to a digital thermometer but can be adjusted from the back. less
