Expandable walnut dining table on concave base attributed to Jack Cartwright for Founders Furniture c. 1960s, fully refinished and ready for another sixty years. Gorgeous walnut grain patterns flow across the surface and cascade down the legs, vibrant and earthy in color.
With both leaves inserted, it expands from 72 inches to 104 inches, accommodating 10-12 guests. The table tapers slightly towards the narrow ends, creating additional seating space relative to a straight-edge table of a similar size. The recessed apron allows you to tuck in almost any armchair comfortably beneath the tabletop.
