Japanese postmodern folding chair designed and patented by Suekichi Uchida. This chair featured a sleek design and folds for storage easily. The chair is called Utida X, so noted as the support structure forms and X when set up for seating. Also worth noting, there is an additional patent on how the seat is attached! Vinyl upholstery is in decent shape but there are a few small nicks, one on seat and 2 others at the edges of the back where is is attached over the tubes. The arm rests are plastic over the chrome. I spent time cleaning the surface rust. There are some blemishes in the chrome and rust spots here and there but most of it cleaned up very well. *This chair does not retain it’s label. It does have the original back floor glides.
