hallmarked for silver title 800
circa 1867/1872
after 1872 the initial of the city was also included in the hallmark
here within the brand there is still only the number for the title (in this case 3 which stands for 800 silver)
other small mark distant with a G that could be for the city of Graz
silversmith initials poorly readable
slightly larger and more massive than average and in excellent condition for age
hand decorative engraving on the lid and on all sides manual guilloché workmanship
rectangular wavy box
interior features beautiful well preserved vermeil
box closes very well
