The careful restoration process involved washing back the old colour, followed by multiple layers of hand-dyed treatments using traditional techniques.

To achieve the exquisite antique finish, the leather was dyed by hand six times, allowing the colour to seep into every crevice and grain of the hide. This painstaking process results in a unique depth of colour that modern methods cannot replicate.
