This exquisite artistic vase epitomizes the essence of 1970s Murano glass craftsmanship, expertly created by Flavio Poli for Seguso. Celebrated for his pioneering use of the sommerso technique, this vase showcases multiple layers of overlapping glass, resulting in a striking interplay of color and texture. It features a rare and characteristic flattened quadrangular prism shape that is a hallmark of modern design, adding an element of geometric elegance to any space.
The vase predominantly features an intense red exterior with a yellow interior, all encased within transparent glass. The multifaceted shape of the vase allows the three colors to shift and blend depending on the viewing angle, and the way light interacts with the piece further enhances the intensity of the colors.
