It is part of the Indigo series of stoneware objects with white glaze and blue hand-painted geometric decor she created in 1952.
Very nice graphic pattern, rare find.
Karin Björquist designed many classics for the Swedish ceramic factory Gustavsberg. One of the most well-known series is Indigo from 1952.
It consists of stoneware bowls, jars, mugs, and vases. They have white glaze and blue hand-painted geometric pattern. Each model could have several decors. It is marked on the bottom with the Gustavsberg Studio hand, painter’s mark, and model number. This piece has an attribution mark,
