The execution of the shell is amazing, and the relief helps to add details and dimension to the design. The frame is 10K yellow gold (on the reverse side of the cameo, there is a stamp "10K"). The pin back hinged pin locks on a "C" clasp closure. This is a lovely cameo that will be admired for years to come! It is in excellent condition.
A gorgeous vintage cameo brooch with a nice size, measuring approximately 1.65" ( 42 mm) x 1.37" ( 35 mm).
It can be worn as either a brooch or turn up the turn-down bale and wear it as a pendant.
