This server has abstract curliques and arabesques on the circular server end and sculptural/molded leaves and flowers on the handle.
It is unusual in that It is a server, but has both a flat plate and a straight raised lip on the right side to help scoop out food or to catch juices
It is highly decorated on both the circular server by engraving and the handle in three-dimensions
It is decorated not just on the front as customary but on BOTH sides of both the server and the handle
It was designed by the fine English firm William Adams in Sheffield England and made in Italy, as marked
9-3/4" long
Flat circular serving plate at end of handle is 3-1/2 x 3" less
