Absolutely stunning tea and coffee service set is both timeless and elegant. A Sheffield design reproduction of the famous melon shape with its deep flutings and swirled borders in Community's fine craftsmanship. Includes a large handled / footed tray, tea pot and coffee pot with hinged lids, cream pitcher, waste pot, and lidded sugar bowl. Decorated with molded and etched scallops & florals, melon bud finials on lids..
All pieces are in good condition, with minor surface scuffs. Coffee pot and teapot have insulator handles. Serving tray has minor surface scratches. The creamer has its handle detached and a couple light scratches. Otherwise a remarkable tea & coffee set. Each piece marked on bottom: Melon Sheffield Design Reproduction by Community.
Please note, silver plate will tarnish when exposed to air; you may need to polish from time to time.
