The slant front opens to reveal numerous small drawers and "secret" compartments (two next to the cupboard and two above the pigeon holes). The slant front rests on two loopers. The piece has two small drawers over three larger, graduated drawers on top of bracket feet. The edges of the drawer faces are crossbanded, which greatly adds to the pieces overall charm. A beautiful and very functional piece.
