This is an extraordinary pair of Marge Carson Solid Wood lounge chairs. They feature an oversized Serge Roche style carving which is an acanthus leaf in design. They are topped with an acanthus bud which is a self finial. This means the finial is part of the chair. The finish is a beige but not crackled so it is easy to lacquer if you wish. The overall chair condition is excellent with just some tiny finish loss mostly at the finial and minor. The fabric is true white and could be used. A few spots I think might clean see photos. The cushions are duck down filled and the Carson label is attached. I cannot find anything like these chairs. They might have been custom. The are referred to on the tag as a tulip design. GORGEOUS!
