This hand-knotted wool 6x9 rug is a new addition to the Scandinavian rug collection by Rug & Kilim—inspired by mid-century Swedish rugs, flatweaves and textiles of the minimalist Rollakan and Rya sensibility.
On the Design:
Keen eyes will further admire the marriage of the high-low texture to the geometry and its fabulous complement to the movement and graphic nature of such a modern piece. The choice of colors, too, explores their retro feel in a more refreshing style, thereby making it a particularly warm piece made to brighten any space. This particular rug enjoys rich, saturated gold, gray, green and white tones, underscore geometric patterns inspired by the Swedish deco and mid-century modern style. Connoisseurs may admire this proprietary technique of ours that both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
