Rich, warm fine art giclee print on canvas is smooth to the touch but looks lightly textured. Great volume and movement.
Moody vintage orange study giclee on canvas in a 1890s federal frame in darkened, patinated wood with hand-applied decoration showing damage, wear and age. Under glass, newly-matted in olive linen, and ready to hang.
The dark round oranges amplify the wood berries adorning the frame. The new dark mat Is an elegant contrast to the aging dark frame. The scarlet double mat accents the scarlet tablecloth in the study.
This is truly a bespoke piece for your consideration. It would look at home in an ancient English cottage or a modern kitchen as a counterpoint to contemporary style. Very versatile.
Newly-framed in delicate, antique frame showing losses, cracks, and wear. The frame is handcarved with fine applied ornamentation, including tiny beading, corner medallions, scrollwork, urns, and top and bottom ornaments. . Small round berries parallel the round fruit pictured. The color is darkened but appears to be a rich brown with olive tones. The coloration on the top ornament includes gold and burgundy.
Great autumnal colors, including burgundy and olive, which are two top current design colors.

Mat is new showing minor imperfections. Frame is distressed. The frame appears structurally sound but the ornamentation is cracking and there are losses. I have photographed the frame alone from many angles in an attempt to show all flaws - please zoom in. I marked it as needing restoration but I wouldn’t change a thing. The losses and patina add to the character of the piece. It looks like an original painting. Please let me know if you have questions and thanks for your interest. less
