This highly geometric Art Deco Mantelpiece Clock in Nero Marquina marble, Sosalia Lucida Onyx, and Red Napoleon Marble W/ Bronze … Read more This highly geometric Art Deco Mantelpiece Clock in Nero Marquina marble, Sosalia Lucida Onyx, and Red Napoleon Marble W/ Bronze Sculptural Motif originates from France, Circa 1930. Features a round face in marble with lovely grey textural striations and round black marble indicators of alternating sizes with skyscraper style hour and minute hands. The base is rectilinear in black marble with asymmetrical napoleon red marble elements supporting either side of the round face, one rectangular with white marble stripes and one round. The various hues of marble contrast beautifully against one another providing a sleek and elegant appearance with precise line work and proportions. To the right of the clock face is a stylized bronze sculpture of a bird holding a sphere in its beak, a lovely material and conceptual touch to this largely geometric mantelpiece clock. The glass is held in place by polished chrome spheres. Sure to make a statement in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Art Deco to Mid-Century Modernist and Contemporary Interiors.
