A handsomely patinated instrument that adds industrial edginess to a desk or a bookcase. This
bronze and brass level by K&E (Keuffel & Esser New York), #6457, was one of the necessary tools for an architect circa 1900. Its last marked patent date is 1891.
Appears to be in working order: the optics are clear, the adjustment knobs work and the bubble levels are intact. It comes with a sun shade that fits over the lens.
18" wide x 4.75" deep x 8" high. Cool decorative piece.
